Friday, February 2, 2007: Yike's - the ice is threatening

Due to the increasing thickness of the ice in the streams and the potential for them to freeze to the bottom we have removed the sondes from all of the streams.

Last spring we had two instruments destroyed by spring runoff debris. The sondes will be returned to the streams when the threats have passed.
