WLSSD Historical & Ongoing Monitoring Data

 

The Western Lakes Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD) has been monitoring sites in the St. Louis River for a number of years. This plotting tool presents 2 datasets:

  1. Historical: bacterial, physical & chemical data, collected from 18 sites on the river, from 1973 to 1996.
  2. Ongoing: bacterial & physical data, collected from 12 sites, from 2004 to present.

Note: All sites are in the St Louis River, except:

* - SL 259 (Site 8) is at the Thomson Rd crossing of the Forbay Lake hydro channel

* - SL 241N is at the east end of Forbay Lake

** - Site 13 is the Midway River, 4.22 miles upstream from Thomson Reservoir
